The story behind the fragrance

Rue Bel Air begins with memories of a life, held in a street in Paris. Autumn moves between the old buildings. Leaves fall, gathering along the pavement. The air turns cool, and familiar places carry the feeling of years gone by.

The fragrance is being developed around that atmosphere: a fresh opening of bergamot and petitgrain, touched with pink pepper. At its heart, dry leaves meet black tea and iris, bringing a quiet, gently powdery warmth. Cedar, vetiver, a light touch of patchouli, and soft musks give the composition its depth.

At the centre is an accord of dry leaves, iris, and cedar: a way of holding on to the texture of a season and the intimacy of a memory.

This olfactory direction is approved. The formula and its balance are still being developed through trials.
